Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and self‑sufficient Accountant to join our finance team for a 6‑month to 1‑year contract with the potential for direct hire. You will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, journal entries, reconciliations, prepaids, fixed assets, and month‑end activities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Accounts Payable and daily accounting transactions.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and support the month‑end close process.
- Maintain prepaids, fixed assets, and account reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with financial reporting and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Help improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Collaborate with leadership on day‑to‑day financial operations.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Must‑Have:
- 3+ years of General Accounting experience.
- Accounts Payable (preferred) or Accounts Receivable experience.
Nice‑to‑Have:
- Experience with , Divvy, Veracross, and/or Xero Cloud software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
