Accountant – Responsibilities

The Accountant is responsible for critical accounting work streams (such as cash, accruals), preparing journal entries, owning reconciliations, and continuously improving processes.

• Manage Cash activities: daily cash reconciliation, unposted/cleared items, posting issues with AR/AP/Payroll teams, positive pay, stop pays, ACH returns, outgoing wires and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly review of specific financial statement items, define corrective actions during closing, and ensure reconciling items are timely corrected.
• Maintain accurate monthly reporting and posting of Current Account Inter Opco and miscellaneous charges.
• Schedule and publish monthly close activities calendar, resolving calendar issues with FP&A team.
• Ensure proper load of monthly published FX rates into SAP and assist the Senior Manager with monthly FX analysis for CFO meetings.

• BS in Accounting or equivalent with 2+ years of related work experience, or Master’s degree in the field with 0-2 years of related work experience.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• SAP FI modules.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables).
• General Accounting knowledge.

The annual salary range for this role is $83,000 – $130,000. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees.
