A semiconductor-related company is seeking an accounting professional to support financial reporting, closing, cash management, tax compliance, and accounting operations.

Candidates are not limited to senior level; title, responsibilities, and compensation may be determined based on experience and skill level.

This position supports a broad range of accounting and finance activities, including AP/AR, financial reporting, closing, cash flow, tax, audits, budgeting, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.

Professional Japanese and English proficiency is required. Candidates with solid accounting experience and strong growth potential are encouraged to apply.

• Prepare and analyze accounting records, AP/AR documentation, financial statements, and reports.
• Support or lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing based on experience level.
• Prepare cash flow reports, analyze variances, and support cash/bank account management.
• Coordinate financial transactions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain tax documentation and coordinate with external accountants on sales, property, corporate, and other tax filings.
• Support quarterly reviews and year-end audits in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Assist with expense budgets, monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Maintain fixed asset and accumulated depreciation schedules.
• Support inventory valuation, physical inventory counts, and variance analysis.
• Maintain and improve accounting procedures, manuals, and internal controls.
• Senior-level candidates may provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required:

• Professional Japanese and English language ability.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Accounting/finance experience; candidates may be considered at different levels based on experience and skills.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Senior-level accounting experience, including closing and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax regulations.
• Experience with AP/AR, cash management, audits, budgeting, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
• Semiconductor or manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior accounting staff.

• Salary:
  Approximately $80,000–$110,000 DOE; final compensation and level will be based on qualifications and experience.
• Bonus:
  Prior-year actual bonuses were approximately 1.5 months of salary in summer and 2–3 months in winter.
• Onsite attendance is required during the probationary period.
• After probation, approximately 1 remote workday per week may be considered.

This role may include additional responsibilities as needed based on business needs.
