Receptionist
The Receptionist - Level 2 provides professional front desk and administrative support to a department or office. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service by greeting visitors, managing incoming calls, coordinating meeting room setups, and handling a variety of routine office tasks to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and customers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner upon arrival.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate individuals or departments.
- Issue and manage visitor badges and ensure proper sign-in and sign-out procedures.
- Coordinate and set up meeting rooms, including basic preparation and organization before scheduled meetings.
- Provide general front desk support, including responding to inquiries and offering assistance to visitors and employees.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and welcoming reception area at all times.
- Use Microsoft Office applications to support routine administrative tasks, such as basic document handling, email communication, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with other office staff to ensure efficient communication and smooth daily operations.
Essential
Skills:
- 2–4 years of experience working as a receptionist, front desk associate, or in a similar customer-facing administrative role.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with visitors and staff.
- Experience greeting customers and visitors in a busy office or departmental environment.
- Ability to manage visitor badges and follow basic access and sign-in procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including basic use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and related tools.
- Clear and professional verbal communication skills for in-person and telephone interactions.
- Ability to stay organized and maintain composure while handling multiple tasks at the front desk.

Work Environment:
This role is based at an office front desk within a departmental or corporate environment. The receptionist works on-site, providing in-person support to visitors and staff throughout the day. The position involves regular use of office technology, including multi-line phone systems, computers, and Microsoft Office applications. Work is typically performed during standard business hours, with consistent interaction with guests and internal teams in a professional setting.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
