Job Description

We are seeking a CPQ Program Manager to join our team in San Jose, California or Boston, Massachusetts. This is a hybrid role that will serve as the primary bridge between Product Management, Business Stakeholders, and IT. The role is responsible for leading the functional design and roadmap that enables New Product Introduction (NPI) and complex Quote to Cash strategies across our Go-To-Market systems, including Salesforce CRM, Oracle CPQ, and SAP ERP.

Responsibilities
  • Develop organization-wide architectures and methodologies for the design and implementation of processes and tools to provide sales forecasting, analytics and metrics, quotes and pricing, order management, invoicing, and operations support across multiple platforms and organizations within the Global Business Unit.
  • Consult with senior and executive business leaders to identify relevant analytics, standards and metrics for the assigned areas.
  • Develop overall sales operations framework, including forecasts and budgets, to meet resource and sales client needs.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies, process innovations, and partner relationships for alignment with strategy roadmap and business value.
  • Create plans for integration and update into sales operations architecture.
  • Leverage recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence and guide decisions of executive business leadership, sales partners and customers.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of innovation and excellence.
Education and Experience Required
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing business processes and solutions.
  • BA/BS with emphasis in a related field (Information Systems Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science).
  • Experience designing end-to-end processes that scale, particularly with respect to order management and installed base management.
  • Extensive knowledge of business applications to support quote-to-invoice processes—Salesforce CRM, Oracle CPQ, and SAP ERP.
  • Comfortable with SaaS productivity tools such as GSuite, JIRA, Smart Sheet, Visio, Slack, etc.
  • Experience with EDI and business applications integration tools is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Understanding of project management principles and concepts.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Extensive experience designing and developing business-wide sales operations support systems and solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.
  • Extensive expertise in business and sales operations processes and their application to business-wide systems.
  • Evaluating, selecting, and creating forms of forecasting and planning methodologies to develop guidance for deploying sales and operational resources and activities.
  • History of innovation with examples of developing new technologies and practices for quality systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate sales operations architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.
