In this role you will work closely with Embodied AI, Systems Engineering, Consumer and platform partners to translate GM’s product strategy into high-impact capability outcomes, ensuring delivery at scale, quality, and pace to meet product milestones.

Success requires strong technical judgment, principled decision-making, and the ability to build alignment across engineering, infrastructure, and other cross‑functional teams. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, making tough tradeoffs, and translating business needs into engineering priorities.

What You'll Do
  • Own the product vision and roadmap for specific AV capabilities and the underlying autonomy platform for GM’s next generation autonomy products, balancing engineering constraints, business needs, and internal platform dependencies.
  • Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions clearly across a wide spectrum of audiences from internal customers to executives.
  • Synthesize technical and analytical insights into PRDs and requirements that provide engineers and partners with a clear understanding of what to do and why.
  • Lead executives and key partners through sophisticated decisions to drive progress toward strategic goals.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Program Management, Data Science, Commercial Operations, Systems Engineering and Consumer Product to define goals and the roadmap needed to reach them.
  • Identify and lead improvements to the team's innovation and approach enabling us to scale our team and impact.
  • Exemplify outstanding product development and management practices in everything you touch.
  • Define, track, and analyze key product metrics and performance data to measure success and identify improvement areas.
  • Stay updated on new technology and competitive products to drive continuous improvement, anticipate threats, and identify risks.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
  • 5+ years of product management or related industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields.

  • Technical proficiency in problem‑solving with complex software solutions.
  • Experience defining vision and strategy for robotics or autonomy software products.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive stakeholder buy‑in.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills; ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to non‑technical partners.
  • Comfortable with complex and ambiguous problems and situations, and adept at identifying a project’s risks.
  • Enthusiastic and resilient in a constantly evolving environment where creative solutions are the norm.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
  • MBA or Masters in related technical fields.
  • Experience working on Autonomous Vehicle (AV) teams on ML/AI models.
