Strategic Data Analyst

Systemart, LLC offers a hybrid contract role in Sunnyvale, CA for a Strategic Data Analyst. This position centers on forecasting, data analysis, and patent and licensing financial analysis to support growth within the Strategic Business Operations (SBO) team. The role carries a pay rate of USD 50 - 52 per hour and supports a hybrid work model with two on-site days per week across Sunnyvale and San Francisco locations.

A bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant experience are required.

• Assist in developing long-term revenue forecasts and analyses spanning three to five years.
• Lead forecasting model development based on market trends, existing licensee sales, and new licensee acquisitions.
• Provide relevant analysis and financial information to patent licensing executives for prospective licensees.
• Process diverse data sets to deliver summary-level insights and recommendations.
• Improve data quality and consistency through enhanced data management practices.
• Identify opportunities to optimize systems and processes for greater efficiency, effectiveness, and automation.
• Analyze business problems and deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
• Prepare economic analyses in support of patent pool engagements by evaluating royalty rate and pool structure proposals.
• Develop patent valuation analyses to support IP business development efforts.

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience as a Data Analyst with Finance M&A exposure.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Solid data analysis and finance background.
