Senior Strategy and Operations Lead
Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google's functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines. Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications.
Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands. The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure se are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer.
We look across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $222000 - $308000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Drive long-range and annual strategy planning processes and translate high-level objectives into actionable roadmaps that empower Google's product areas to innovate at scale.
- Act as a bridge across technical teams to support Core's strategic agenda.
- Synthesize massive amounts of data into insights that influence critical investment and trade-off decisions.
- Navigate highly ambiguous strategy projects to frame the problem, recommend solution alternatives, and drive alignment on go forward approaches.
