Job summary Digi Cert is building a product-led technology alliances function and we are looking for a Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships to be the execution engine behind it. This role owns a defined portfolio of strategic technology partnerships end-to-end, from technical scoping through integration delivery, and provides senior execution support on our highest-priority CEO-level accounts. This is not a relationship-maintenance role.
You will be accountable for partnerships that move: integrations that ship, joint pipelines that develop, and a portfolio that never goes dark for lack of follow-through. You will work directly with product, engineering, and go-to-market counterparts at Digi Cert and at our partners, translating between business strategy and technical execution. Success is measured in integration footprint, adoption, and influenced pipeline, not simply logos or press releases.
you will do
- Partnership execution:
Own the full engagement lifecycle for your assigned accounts, joint roadmap development, integration scoping, working-session facilitation, and mutual commitment tracking from first call through launch. - Partnership cadence and communications:
Manage the operational rhythm of your portfolio, setting agendas ahead of partner meetings, capturing decisions and commitments in real time, distributing follow-ups to all parties, and owning external communications to partner counterparts between executive touchpoints. Ensure every conversation produces a clear record and that agreed actions close on schedule. - Technical bridge:
Run working sessions between Digi Cert product and engineering and partner technical teams. Translate between business requirements and integration specifications. Earn credibility on both sides of the table. - Top-account support:
On our highest-priority CEO-level accounts, prepare the VP for every meeting, draft exec briefs, own follow-through on action items, and maintain continuity between executive-level engagements. - Integration delivery:
Track integration milestones from scoping through launch. Surface blockers to product and engineering. Own the timeline. - Partnership origination:
Proactively monitor Digi Cert's product roadmap, strategic direction, and the competitive landscape to identify partnership opportunities before they arrive inbound. Build a qualified pipeline of prospective partners particularly in AI trust and agent identity, PKI automation, and post-quantum and bring prioritized recommendations to the VP with a clear thesis for each. - Inbound qualification:
Triage new inbound partnership interest. Recommend prioritize / park / pass with a clear rationale before escalating.
- 7+ years in technology partnerships, alliances, or BD with a track record of moving partnerships from exploratory to deal structure to execution, not just signed MOUs.
- Business-technical depth in security, cloud, or identity fluent enough to lead a product working session, read an API spec, and earn credibility with engineering counterparts. PKI, TLS, or cloud security literacy is a strong plus.
- Structured, exec-ready communicator - writes clean briefs, runs tight meetings, and keeps leadership informed without being asked. Comfortable at the VP/SVP level on both sides of the table.
- Self-directed operator with strong pipeline discipline maintains their own tracking, flags slippage early, and closes loops without follow-up from above.
- Experience across the technology-alliance maturity curve has moved a partnership from tech integration through co-marketing toward co-sell or OEM. Understands what each stage requires.
- Comfortable in a product-led alliances function understands that success is measured in adoption and integration footprint, not logos and press releases.
- This role sits under the CPO, not Sales.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Competitive compensation and comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
- Retirement savings programs with company matching (401(k) or RRSP)
- Generous paid time off, including holidays, and vacation
- Paid parental leave and family support benefits
- Life and disability coverage
- Flexible spending and health savings options (where applicable)
- Health and wellness support, including gym reimbursement and wellness programs
- Employee Assistance Program with 24/7 confidential support for employees and families
- Education assistance and professional development opportunities
