The Design Team is responsible for the design and art direction of core communications
-including product launches and seasonal campaigns- across Retail, Channel, Packaging, Keynote, and Events. Working in a highly collaborative manner, a primary focus of the Design Team is to define the look and feel of all Apple product images and motion through experimentation, critical thinking, and extraordinary attention to detail.

The Senior Designer is an integral member of the team creating innovative and compelling work that meets the requirements outlined in Apple's creative briefs from ideation to execution. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing design and art-direction that inspires both current and potential customers for one of the world’s most beloved brands.

• Crafting innovative and inspiring campaigns that align with creative briefings, across a broad range of media.
• Creation of graphic design, motion design and art-direction for products, services and events using 2D, 3D, motion software and other emerging technologies.
• Detail driven creative development of images, animation and other branding elements for Apple's packaging, print and digital advertising, social media, channel and retail environments.
• Taking direction from project Art Directors and Creative Directors, responding quickly to new information, and pivoting strategically when needed.
• Close collaboration and communication with internal teams and external vendors, including providing art direction, guidance, and feedback.
• Ability to convey a strong point of view on design solutions through logical, strategic thinking.
• Sensitivity for appropriate aesthetic choices, and a desire to push innovation in Apple's work.

• 4+ years of graphic design, motion design and art-direction experience.
• Portfolio exhibiting a thorough grasp of design principles, animation principles, motion theory, typography and visual communication.
• Excellent organizational skills in the preparation and presentation of work.
• Proven ability with 2D, 3D, and motion design software.

• BA or BFA degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• You are naturally curious and have an awareness toward the evolving landscape of available tools, technologies, resources, and trends.
• You are well apt in traditional graphic design, branding, photography, CGI and art direction as it pertains to print, digital, and motion.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, engage in debate, and accept directional feedback.
• Dynamic collaboration style, capable of real-time creative problem-solving that promotes collaboration.
• Ability to cut through ambiguity and find the path forward, despite uncertainty or challenges.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $119,700 and $180,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
