Position Type:
Dental Assistant (DA) - Part-Time (Onsite)

Griffith Family Dental is seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant (DA) to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about patient care and committed to supporting clinical excellence.

As a key contributor to our practice, you will assist in delivering exceptional dental services while helping create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient. This onsite position offers the chance to become an integral part of our daily operations and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures
  • Perform four-handed dentistry efficiently and effectively
  • Prepare and break down treatment rooms before and after procedures
  • Take, process, and mount diagnostic dental radiographs (x-rays)
  • Oversee inventory management and order dental supplies as needed
  • Follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols
  • Deliver post-treatment instructions to patients
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
  • Record medical and dental histories and conduct patient screenings
  • Ensure compliance with infection control standards
  • Coordinate treatment scheduling with the dental team
  • Maintain accurate and legally compliant patient records
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant
  • Skilled in capturing high-quality, diagnosable x-rays
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques
  • Adherence to all health and safety regulations
  • Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
