Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher is needed for a contract position in Sunnyvale, CA, working within a school setting. This role involves teaching and supporting students across various grade levels, ranging from Early Childhood and Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. The position requires expertise in Special Education as well as proficiency in Math instruction.

• Deliver tailored instruction to students with special needs across diverse grade levels
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet each students learning requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to enhance learning experiences
• Monitor and document student progress while adapting teaching strategies accordingly
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student growth

• Certification or licensure in Special Education teaching
• Experience working with students from Early Childhood through High School levels
• Strong knowledge of Math curriculum and instruction methods
• Ability to instruct a broad range of grades, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
• Skilled in adapting lessons to meet diverse learning styles and student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
