Master Teacher – Room 6 (CYW Fairwood)

Join a preschool age (From 2 years old to Kindergarten) classroom in a growth phase! We are seeking a confident, skilled educator for Room 4 who can lead through modeling, structure, and relationship-based care.

SIGN-ON BONUS: $500.00 (Paid after 90 days of continuous employment)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (Based upon Experience)

The Role:

Assumes responsibility for a team and the development and education of children. You will model developmentally appropriate curriculum and agency policies while overseeing classroom routines and meal-time clean‑up.

• Valid “Master” Teacher Permit (Required) or Must be Master Teacher Eligible with plans to apply.
• 24 CORE ECE units REQUIRED.
• 1–2 years minimum experience as a Lead/Master Teacher in an early learning environment.
• Strong instructional practice and classroom management.
• Ability to model best practices, mentor staff, and provide consistent guidance.
• Reliable, passionate about the ECE field, excellent customer service, knowledgeable, nurturing, a team player, and strong work ethic.
• Must be able to start within 3 weeks with Live Scan completed (Live Scan fee reimbursed after 90 days).
