Job Description

Full‑time, hourly position: $24–$27 per hour. Requires 12 CORE units and an Associate Teacher Permit or higher (desired). Seeking educators passionate about early childhood education and confident in their abilities. The Associate Teacher at CYW Fairwood is responsible for the development, care, and education of children, modeling developmentally appropriate curriculum and complying with agency policies and procedures within their assigned classroom.

CYW Fairwood is a high‑quality, play‑based child development program accredited through Quality Matters. The Fairwood campus serves children from 6 weeks through 5th grade. In this role, you will help ensure a safe, nurturing environment that meets Title 5 and Title 22 regulations while fostering strong, collaborative partnerships with families.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM
• Compensation: $24–$27.00 per hour (Based upon Experience)
• The Role:
  
  Assumes responsibility for a team and the development and education of children. You will model developmentally appropriate curriculum and agency policies while overseeing classroom routines and meal‑time clean‑up.
