ASSOCIATE TEACHER (
* SIGN ON BONUS - $1000 Paid after 90 days of continuous employment)

Full‑time hourly position $25 - $27 an hour. 12 CORE units required, Associate Teacher Permit or higher desired. Seeking educators passionate about early childhood education and confident in their abilities. Assumes responsibility for the development and education of children, modeling of developmentally appropriate curriculum and agency policies and procedures within their assigned classroom.

The Associate Teacher at CYW Fairwood supports the development, care, and education of children while modeling developmentally appropriate practices and adhering to agency policies. CYW is a high‑quality, play‑based child development program accredited through Quality Matters. Our Fairwood campus serves children from 6 weeks through 5th grade. In this role you will help ensure a safe, nurturing environment that meets Title 5 and Title 22 regulations while fostering strong, collaborative partnerships with families.

As an Associate Floater, you will be responsible for a range of ages from our infant room (from 2 years old) to our school‑age classrooms. We are seeking a confident, skilled educator who can lead through modeling, structure, and relationship‑based care.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Compensation: $25–$27.00 per hour (based upon experience)
• The Role:
  
  Assumes responsibility for a team and the development and education of children. You will model developmentally appropriate curriculum and agency policies while overseeing classroom routines and meal‑time clean‑up.
