Teacher (TK-8)
Teacher (TK-8) reports to the School Site Principal. The job goal is to provide each student with a program that will enable them to reach their fullest potential. Qualifications include possessing a valid California teaching credential, EL Authorization, CLAD, or BCLAD. Advanced training/education and classroom teaching experience in K-8 are desirable. Bilingual ability is also desirable. Performance responsibilities include meeting curriculum requirements, providing planned learning experiences, establishing standards of pupil behavior, evaluating pupils' academic and social growth, and maintaining professional competence through in-service education activities.
The salary and terms of employment are described in the Agreement between the Sunnyvale School District and the Sunnyvale Education Association. Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the Agreement between the Sunnyvale School District and the Sunnyvale Education Association.
