Project Engineer, Quality Engineering

Shift Information

• Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Onsite position!
• Pay range starts at $45+/hr!
• 12+ Months to start! This is a W2 Contract (No 1099/C2C), with a possibility of extension or conversion beyond the original duration based on performance & budget at that time.

• Position is primarily responsible for leading technical projects within an FDA-regulated medical device environment, including defining project scope, developing project charters, and driving execution from initiation through completion.
• Position will also be responsible for supplier process validation activities, supporting design controls and ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 compliance, managing detailed project plans (scope, schedule, budget, and resources), performing risk assessments, and ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Position will be in charge of leading cross‑functional teams and external supplier meetings, documenting key decisions and action items, tracking budget variances, preparing data‑driven reports and presentations for senior leadership using advanced Excel and Power BI, and fostering a collaborative, results‑driven team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field is required!
• Around 3 or more years of experience in an FDA-regulated medical device industry is required!
• Experience with supplier process validation, design controls, and ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems is required!
• Experience developing and managing project scope, charter, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments is required!
• Strong cross‑functional leadership and external supplier communication skills is preferred!
• Advanced Excel and Power BI reporting and presentation skills is preferred!
