Lockheed Martin is leading the way in hypersonic missile development and we want you to be a part of it  We are creating the first hypersonic boost/glide system for the US Army and Navy here on the Conventional Prompt Strike  CPS  program, and our NGC SW Integrated Product Team  IPT  is responsible for the algorithms and software that control it  Our group includes the Navigation, Guidance, and Control  NG&C or GN&C  subsystem, which flies the missile and glide body, and the embedded Flight Software  FSW  which hosts the NG&C algorithms and provides health, status, and sequencing for the entire system  Additionally, we develop and maintain the Flight Software testbeds  HILs or HWILs  which provide complete hardware integration testing with feedback and flight simulation to test the NG&C algorithms and flight software

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full time Lead Engineer to support the NGC test bed in Sunnyvale, CA  This team will support the larger HWIL  Hardware In the Loop  team on the CPS program  In this role you will support integration of software applications, simulations and operating systems into the Flight Software Testbeds

* Recent Software/Hardware integration experience

 Prior Team Lead experience

 Knowledge of Agile Software Development

 Proficient Linux experience

 US Citizenship required   Interim Secret Clearance needed start with the ability to obtain and maintain final secret clearance

* Active DoD Secret security clearance

Experience with TLYF  Test Like You Fly , HWIL  Hardware In the Loop , and/or PIL  Processor In the Loop

 Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment

 Excellent written and oral communication skills

** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees   Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed   These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits

** Schedule for this Position:
** 9x80 every other Friday off

** Pay Rate:
** The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York  excluding most major metropolitan areas , Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200    $164,450  For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location  Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only  Lockheed Martin considers factors such as  but not limited to  scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer
