- ** Key activities you will accomplish in this role:*
* - You will design automated test equipment  ATE , electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for system production tests, system validation and system level field test

- You will work with a team of engineers for the development of Special Test Equipment that requires research, test equipment/system development, for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including Avionics, Control Systems Telemetry, Electro Optical and Radiation Detection Equipment; radio and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components using analog and digital data acquisition and control systems, FPGA, real time systems, computers;

- While no clearance is needed to start this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a
** Secret clearance** , thus

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* - Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

- Experience with designing automated test equipment  ATE , electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for system production tests, system validation and system level field test

- Willing and able to obtain and maintain a
** Secret clearance** , thus
** US Citizenship
** is required

Skills:

* - Understanding of Engineering Circuit fundamentals  analog & digital  and of product configuration control processes

- Experience with wire harness design and electronics assembly development and integration with the ability to trouble shoot and isolate the root cause of failure along with developing test plans & procedures tracible to the product and system requirements

- Familiar and able to operate electrical / electronic test equipment

- Experience in using schematic/cabling drafting tools and 3D modeling tools centered in model based engineering

- Self starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision with critical thinking skills in solving complex technical problems
