Health Sensor Electrical Engineer

The Health Technologies team initiates and delivers exciting new technologies for Apple’s future products and proves feasibility. We are seeking a highly motivated engineer to join a cross‑functional team to help develop sensors, systems, and applications for the areas of health, wellness, and fitness. The team features a collaborative, inclusive, and hands‑on environment that fosters engineering excellence, creativity, and innovation.

• Investigate feasibility of new features for future products.
• Evaluate and develop new sensor technologies.
• Design user studies that answer key questions.
• Develop system models, including physiology and sensor systems.
• Create prototype circuits and systems.
• Analyze data from bench‑top and user studies.
• Regularly create technical presentations for executive and cross‑functional briefings.

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience with sensors and related circuitry.
• Experience creating health devices or measurement of biological signals.
• Proficiency with Python or similar simulation and modeling tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to focus down to the details.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to drive what matters.

• Proficiency with analog design, signal processing, and embedded circuits.
• Experience with user study design and data analysis.

• Base pay range: $121,306 – $213,700 annualized, dependent on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
• Apple shareholder participation.

• Eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
