We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Development Engineering Intern to support our Technology Team in advancing photoresist formulation and characterization projects. This internship offers hands‑on experience in semiconductor materials development, DUV/EUV lithography processes, and predictive modeling approaches for next-generation photoresist technologies.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, thrives in a laboratory environment, and has a strong interest in semiconductor materials, chemistry, and advanced lithography technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare photoresist formulations, recipes, and laboratory samples
- Support resist‑coated wafer preparation and FT measurements
- Assist with characterization and interpretation of DUV/EUV photoresist properties
- Apply data analysis and predictive modeling approaches to photoresist development
- Review and support approval processes for Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Document experimental procedures, observations, and results accurately
- Collaborate with the Technology Team on research and development projects
- Photoresist fundamentals and semiconductor materials science
- Photoresist formulation composition and sample preparation techniques
- DUV and EUV lithography processes
- Advanced semiconductor manufacturing technologies and EUV applications
- Predictive modeling approaches used in photoresist development
- Semiconductor industry practices and laboratory safety standards
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a BS or MS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- Strong interest in semiconductor technology and advanced lithography
- Basic laboratory experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to semiconductor processing, lithography, or materials characterization
- Familiarity with data analysis or predictive modeling concepts
- Experience working in a laboratory or research setting
- Hands‑on laboratory and development environment

This internship position is based in Sunnyvale, California. Candidates must currently reside within the local area, as relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Pay Range (California)Pursuant to California law, the pay range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
