What You Bring:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
* 2+ years of leadership experience in a cleanroom, semiconductor, or analytical laboratory environment.
* Strong understanding of analytical chemistry, photoresist materials, and process control methodologies (SPC/SQC).
* Experience working within ISO-certified environments (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and adherence to GLP and safety standards.
* Familiarity with analytical techniques used in photoresist chemistry (e.g., trace metals, surface analysis, defect characterization).
* Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, LIMS) and systems integration is a plus.
* Experience managing KPIs, budgets, and resource planning in a manufacturing or lab environment.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across functions and build relationships.
* Demonstrated ability to operate in a results-driven, customer-focused environment, consistent with JSR's commitment to quality and innovation.

Quality, Safety & QEHSS Leadership
* Promote a strong safety culture aligned with JSR's QEHSS standards (Quality, Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability).
* Identify, assess, and resolve EH&S concerns in partnership with QC leadership and cross-functional teams.
* Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal/external audit requirements.
Analytical Operations & Equipment Ownership
* Oversee daily operations of QC analytical laboratories supporting photoresist production.
* Ensure reliability, uptime, and performance of analytical and metrology tools.
* Lead response to tool downtime and drive effective business continuity planning to minimize impact to operations.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven decision making and problem-solving methodologies.
* Monitor and improve KPIs such as cycle time, tool utilization, and quality metrics.
* Implement Lean, SPC, and best practices to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Project & Technology Execution
* Lead tool qualification, method validation, and analytical capability expansion projects.
* Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with quality and cost expectations.
Team Leadership & Development
* Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on accountability, development, and performance.
* Provide coaching, feedback, and competency development for engineers and lab personnel.
* Support training programs to ensure adherence to SOPs and operational standards.
Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, and customer-facing teams to meet product specifications and quality expectations.
* Maintain strong awareness of customer requirements and ensure analytical capabilities support evolving technologies.
Problem Solving & Risk Mitigation
* Champion structured problem-solving approaches (8D, DOE, fishbone analysis) to resolve quality issues.
* Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure consistent product performance.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation & Total Rewards
In compliance with California law, the pay range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 annually. Compensation is based on job-related factors including skills, experience, and internal equity.
