Job Description
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Electronics Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.
LocationSunnyvale, CA – this position does not support teleworking; you will be located near the Lockheed Martin Space facility and work a flexible 9x80 schedule full-time.

In this role supporting THAAD Missile Guidance Navigation and Control Hardware Engineering you will support the full product lifecycle from development through production and post‑production of one or more GNC products including infrared seeker systems, digital signal processing and control systems, inertial measurement systems, and electromechanical control actuation systems.
Key Activities- Participate in design reviews
- Process Engineering Change Requests
- Help determine root cause and corrective actions for failure review boards
- Review supplier technical submissions
To be effective in this role you will need:
- Prior experience and/or knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, analog and digital circuit analysis, and complex system failure analysis
- At least one year of professional experience
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and education
- Experience with design and analysis of digital or analog circuits
- Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required
- Experience performing electronics analysis such as Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, and Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis
- Experience on Space and/or Missile Defense missions
- Experience in electronic systems schematic creation and interpretation, and electronics modeling/simulation tools such as SPICE
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills
- Adaptability to new situations and self‑initiative in solving complex problems
- Existing DoD Secret clearance
This position requires a DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Annual base salary range for eligible states: $70,100 – $123,625. In major metropolitan areas the range is $80,600 – $139,840. Salary is based on role responsibilities, experience, education, and market factors.
