We are a team of world‑class experts developing and shipping products at the intersection of silicon, hardware, software, and content. The Reality Labs team seeks an AMS Silicon Validation Engineer.

• Responsible for SoC and E2E system validation plan development, and execution
• Develop FW tooling for debug and validation
• Understand system HW/SW/FW component as a whole and do test execution and debugging
• Power and performance characterization on pre‑silicon platforms and post‑silicon validation boards
• Create diagnostic and validation tools to test firmware functionality, performance, and reliability
• Able to work in an agile environment, changing roadmaps and be able to adapt validation plans based on changes.

• Hands‑on experience in bring‑up and validation of complex SoCs. 3+ years of embedded systems or firmware development experience
• Experience in scripting language like python preferred, ability to read and debug FW/ baremetal code in C, high level of proficiency in C (preferred)
• Familiarity with firmware testing frameworks and automation, proficiency with JTAG debuggers
• Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues
• Preferred Knowledge and experience in pre‑silicon validation platforms (i.e., FPGA and emulation).
• Preferred Proficient in lab instruments such as Oscilloscope, analyzers
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or relevant field with minimum 3 years of industry experience.
