The Network Engineering team is responsible for operating that network reliably and  a member of the team, you have a direct impact on design and feature enhancements to keep our systems running smoothly. You also ensure that network operations are safe and efficient by monitoring network performance, coordinating planned maintenance, adjusting hardware components and responding to network connectivity issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in telecommunications at carrier scale working with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer2/3 routers, and data services.

• 6 years of experience in telecommunications, OSP, ISP, AC/DC power systems, and relay rack/cabinet/cage construction.
• 6 years of experience directing field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, or vendors in a telecommunications working environment.
• 6 years of experience reading/writing or scripting code in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Java, Java script, etc.).

• Develop solutions for Google's Enterprise Network, executing new features qualification and validation through network development, deployment, operation, and optimization.
• Scale systems sustainably through tools and automation, and evolve systems by driving change that improves reliability and velocity.
• Partner with other Google teams to analyze requirements or potential problems and proactively develop solutions and policy recommendations.
• Develop Google’s Enterprise Network Infrastructure, security through published engineering design documents and specifications.
• Complete the requirement analysis, engineering design, and solution development of Google’s Enterprise Network infrastructure.

US: $150000 - $218000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits.
