You Are:You are a signal integrity expert with advanced knowledge of high-speed NRZ and PAM4 Ser Des transceivers for PCIe and Ethernet. With an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, you bring both theoretical understanding and hands-on experience in SI design and validation. You collaborate well with cross-functional teams, thrive on solving complex technical challenges, and are comfortable leading SI strategy across multiple product lines.
You’re detail-oriented, communicate clearly, and are committed to delivering robust, high-performance solutions.
- Define and maintain Ser Des SI requirements for PCIe/Ethernet products.
- Develop SI strategy with the 3
DIC team (bump-map, package escape, channel feasibility). - Lead SI investigations and document findings.
- Participate in industry SI work groups and apply evolving standards.
- Sign off on testchip SI and RX/TX PFE design reviews.
- Support customer deliverables and debug interactions.
You Will Have:
- Set SI standards for high-performance compute products.
- Reduce risks and speed time-to-market for Ser Des IP.
- Ensure industry-leading compliance and reliability.
- Facilitate cross-team SI consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Enhance customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution.
- Advance SI methodology and best practices at Synopsys.
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- Expertise in Ser Des SI for PCIe/Ethernet (128
Gbps+, 200
Gbps+). - Experience with IBIS-AMI, ADS, Matlab, HFSS, and simulation correlation.
- Knowledge of industry SI requirements and work groups.
- Proven leadership in SI investigations and documentation.
- Strategic, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
- Strong communicator and team player.
- Customer-focused and proactive problem solver.
