Electronics Project Engineer IV | Lockheed Martin

Sunnyvale CA, you will be working a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

As the Project Lead for the for several concurrent THAAD Seeker Hardware Development efforts you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and qualification testing of obsolescence-driven redesign activities while ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met. Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project execution plans, work‑breakdown structures, critical‑path schedules, and budget forecasts.
  • Manage scope, coordinate with Certified Principal Engineers, subcontractors, and vendors, and provide leadership and guidance to make critical decisions with a comprehensive perspective.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while enforcing Lockheed Martin quality, engineering, and safety standards and contractual compliance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders (engineering, program management, subcontractor management, finance) and the subcontractor, delivering weekly status reports and monthly executive presentations.

To be effective in this role, you will need:

  • Electronics Engineering Development experience.
  • Project Management experience or equivalent.
  • 3+ years professional experience.
  • While no clearance is needed to start this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
