Lab Hardware Maintenance Engineer
Location:
Sunnyvale, CA
Role
Purpose:
Set up, bring up and maintain specialized test labs and hardware fleets supporting ISP, ANE, DVP and video computer vision validation.
Responsibilities:
- Bring up and maintain assigned labs, test racks, devices and hardware configurations.
- Perform hardware lifecycle management, replacements, updates and failure triage.
- Support automation infrastructure upkeep and environmental readiness for test execution.
- Coordinate with engineers to resolve blockers that affect continuous test coverage.
- Maintain lab documentation, asset records and operational handover notes.
Required
Skills & Experience:
7-10 years in lab hardware operations, test rack maintenance, device validation or hardware support.
Hands-on experience with lab bring-up, device fleets, test infrastructure or automation support. Strong practical troubleshooting across hardware, cables, devices, racks and software agents. Ability to work in secure lab environments with careful asset management. Good coordination and documentation discipline.
