Eurofins EAG Materials Science is seeking aTechnical Specialist with a strong background inmaterials characterization or advanced microscopy to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to transition into a role that blends technical expertise with customer engagement and strategic problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for customized analytical projects.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored analytical solutions.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and quotes, including statements of work.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Support the sales team by maintaining strong customer relationships and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge across a broad range of analytical methods.

  • B.S./M.S. in Materials Science or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Experience (academic or industrial) in surface analyst, materials science or microscopy.
  • Preferred experience with materials characterization and microscopy techniques(TEM, SEM, FIB/Dual Beam, X-ray, AFM, Raman etc.)
  • Must be a proficient communicator and listener.
  • Strong analysis and judgment skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Needs to have excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Computer literate, high level of accuracy and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to handle multiple functions at the same time and maintain good organizational skills.
