Audio Lab Technician

Job Summary:

Team seeking a hands-on Lab Assistant / Lab Technician to support daily lab operations, equipment management, and prototype handling within the Audio Hardware team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with electronic lab equipment, inventory management, calibration processes, and device preparation for testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day lab operations and maintain equipment readiness.
• Manage lab equipment inventory, calibration schedules, and vendor coordination.
• Track and organize prototype devices and engineering samples.
• Flash firmware/software onto Devices Under Test (DUTs) and prepare units for testing.
• Perform basic electrical measurements such as voltage, current, and power.
• Handle and maintain electronic test equipment and hardware prototypes.
• Maintain lab documentation, inventory records, and calibration logs.

Required Skills:

• Experience supporting engineering or hardware labs.
• Equipment inventory and asset management.
• Vendor management and calibration coordination.
• Device flashing and test setup support.
• Basic electronics knowledge and measurement experience (Voltage, Current, Power).
• Familiarity with multimeters, power supplies, and other lab equipment.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Preferred Background:

Consumer Electronics, Audio Hardware, AR/VR, Wearables, or R&D Lab environments.

Experience supporting prototype development and hardware testing teams.
