About the Role
A global, publicly traded manufacturing leader is seeking a Business Unit CFO to drive financial strategy and execution for a $1-2B+ global business unit
.
Reporting directly to the BU General Manager and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team, this is a high-impact role with full P&L ownership, global influence, and a succession-track path to VP

- Lead long-range planning, financial strategy, and capital allocation across the business unit
- Drive profitability, investment prioritization, and performance optimization initiatives
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting cycles
- Lead margin analysis, R&D ROI, and pricing strategy with commercial teams
- Partner across manufacturing, supply chain, and product functions
- Collaborate with GM and leaders across R&D, Ops, Sales, and Marketing
- Shape decisions around capacity, product launches, and global expansion
- Build and develop a global finance team across FP&A and operations
- Ensure governance, US GAAP, and SOX compliance
- Proven success as a Business Unit CFO or divisional finance leader supporting $150M–$2B+ global manufacturing operations.
- Must have FULL P&L ownership Experience (direct accountability for delivering financial results across a business unit — including pricing, cost structure, capital allocation, and profitability outcomes, not just financial planning or reporting)
- Deep experience in Manufacturing Finance (Cost Accounting, Inventory, etc.)
- Deep experience in publicly traded manufacturing environments
- Strong record influencing across commercial and operational finance
- Skilled people leader with experience building global teams
- Open to relocation or a hybrid commute to Silicon Valley
