Join a dynamic team as a Group Controller, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of multiple locations within the organization. Responsibilities
- Lead financial operations across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with business unit goals and delivering on financial plans.
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights to senior management, enhancing decision-making and identifying key trends.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, DFARS, CAS, and internal policies, while advising on policy and regulatory matters.
- Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC
606 and timely financial reporting. - Manage internal and external audits to comply with SOX and government regulations, maintaining high standards of financial integrity.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive annual business plans and rolling forecasts for orders, sales, profit, and cash flow.
- Direct the pricing and estimating process, including cost volume creation, risk analyses, and maintaining labor and indirect rates.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- 7-10 years of experience managing accounting and finance functions.
- BS Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, including ASC
606 revenue standards. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Net Suite.
- Familiarity with government contracting and compliance regulations.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to ethical business practices and safe work environments.
