The Director, Market Access will lead Ceribell’s reimbursement and payer strategy to accelerate adoption of our neuro‑diagnostic solutions. This role is responsible for shaping national and regional payer engagement, optimizing coding and payment pathways, and defining the strategy for generating economic evidence. You will work cross‑functionally with Clinical, Reimbursement, Sales, and Marketing to ensure the value of Ceribell’s technology is clearly communicated to both payers and providers.
This highly strategic role is critical to expanding access, driving commercial growth, and supporting Ceribell’s mission to improve outcomes for patients with suspected seizures and other critical neurological conditions.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive market access roadmap for Ceribell’s product portfolio, including POC EEG and emerging neuromonitoring technologies.
- Lead long‑term strategy for new and existing reimbursement pathways to support continued adoption across ED, ICU, and inpatient settings.
- Identify and address barriers across coding, coverage, payment, and hospital workflows.
- Build and sustain relationships with Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs), national and regional commercial payers, Medicaid plans, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs).
- Lead payer education initiatives, highlighting Ceribell’s clinical evidence, economic value, and outcomes impact in optimizing neurological care.
- Work closely with Clinical to define HEOR evidence needs aligned to payer, hospital, and health‑system priorities.
- Develop budget impact models and cost‑effectiveness analyses that clearly articulate Ceribell’s clinical and financial impact.
- Translate real‑world data into compelling payer communications and coverage strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in health policy, business, science, public health, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, sales, consulting within the medical device, diagnostics or digital health industry.
- 3+ years of market access, reimbursement, HEOR, or payer strategy within medical devices, diagnostics or digital health.
- Proven success securing positive coverage and driving reimbursement for innovative hospital‑based medical technologies.
- Deep expertise with U.S. reimbursement systems, particularly within the inpatient market: DRG payment, CMS policy, commercial payer processes, CPT/HCPCS codes, and medical policy development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex clinical and economic evidence into persuasive payer messaging.
- Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to clinical, payer, and executive stakeholders.
$220,000—$255,000 USD. A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on their skills, education, work location and experience, and may differ from the posted range. Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with Ceribell’s corporate compensation plan.
