Payroll Administrator

Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Sunnyvale, California. In this long-term contract position, you will be responsible for managing comprehensive payroll processes while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining data accuracy.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on delivering timely and efficient payroll services.

Responsibilities:

- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees using Ceridian software, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

- Enter and validate payroll data, including employee changes, terminations, adjustments, and timesheet submissions.

- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for internal management and finance teams.

- Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and company policies.

- Administer benefits, deductions, garnishments, and taxes within the payroll system.

- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to assist with audits and reporting requirements.

- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information and payroll records.

- Support payroll system updates and enhancements as needed to improve efficiency. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration, including bi-weekly payroll processing.

- Proficiency with Ceridian payroll systems is required.

- Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Competence in using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Ability to work onsite in Sunnyvale, California, Monday through Friday.

- Experience managing payroll for multi-state operations and handling employee counts between 101-500.
