Overview

Stanford Health Care — Leadership and Organizational Development role. This is a full-time, on-site position in Sunnyvale with a hybrid option. The role supports SHC
00 leaders and 20,000 employees to serve over one million patients annually as part of SHC's new organizational strategy and culture.

Locations:
Stanford Health Care, Palo Alto area, with related responsibilities across SHC entities.

What You Will Do
  • Strategic Leadership:
    Lead the design, execution, and continuous evolution of leadership development, organizational development, and change management strategies to realize organizational goals; continually measure impact and drive continuous improvement; lead the integration of AI into the development ecosystem to enhance leader capabilities, personalize learning, and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Build Leadership Capabilities at All Levels:
    Implement and promote Leading@SHC behaviors for all 1,800+ leaders; plan and execute annual Leadership Summit and other enterprise talent development experiences; incorporate digital learning innovations and evidence-based practices; provide scalable tools and resources; facilitate key leadership development sessions.
  • Organizational Consulting & Partnership:
    Maintain relationships with senior leaders and HRBPs to ensure development experiences align with the new organizational strategy; define OD capabilities and diagnostics; partner with Change Management practitioners to enable complex change initiatives; serve as an Organizational Consultant to priority organizations; participate in cross-functional HR initiatives.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead and develop a team of Talent Development professionals, fostering a healthy, high-performance team; accelerate individual and team development.
Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited college or university. Master4s degree in a related field (e.g., Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or MBA) strongly preferred. Specialized certifications in leadership or organizational development are a plus.
Experience Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in leadership development, organizational development, management consulting, HR, and/or business strategy.

    Ability to lead high-performing teams and influence at all levels; strong executive presence, listening, and communication skills.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Strategic agility; highly organized and process-oriented; ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Expertise and Strategic Acumen:
    Deep knowledge of talent development, leadership development, organizational development, change management, and employee engagement; strong business acumen.
  • Innovation and Communication:
    Digital fluency and experience evaluating and implementing AI tools to automate administration, personalize learning, and improve impact.
Preferred Knowledge,

Skills And Abilities
  • AI Agentic Fluency:
    Experience defining requirements for deploying LLM-powered workflows, agents/copilots, or decision support in HR/talent contexts.
  • Prior experience within the healthcare industry.

  • Blood Borne Pathogens:
    Category II — tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues; employment may require performing unplanned Category I tasks.

Compensation

Base Pay Scale:
Generally starting at $94.35 - $125.03 per hour. The final salary will be determined based on factors including internal equity, experience, education, and training. This scale is not a promise of a specific wage.
