Overview
Job Title: Supply Chain Business Analyst (Contract)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job SummaryThe Supply Chain Transformation (SCT) team is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Analyst with strong Project Management experience for a six-month engagement. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of process and data management within hardware development environments
, with preference for experience supporting prototype programs
. This role requires strong analytical thinking, structured project execution, and the ability to optimize end-to-end processes and data flows across complex enterprise systems.
- Define and implement end-to-end process and data management strategies for hardware development and supply chain.
- Trace business processes through multiple systems; document data touchpoints and recommend improvements to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Demonstrate understanding of product master data (PLM), parts and hierarchy; apply insights to support process and system decisions.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; define functional requirements and develop detailed solution designs.
- Plan, coordinate, and track delivery of multiple initiatives using Agile practices; drive priorities from concept to closure.
- Identify near and mid-term process/system optimization opportunities; contribute to long-range transformation planning.
- Create reference documentation, workflows, and educational materials for internal teams.
- 5+ years delivering new system capabilities in a Business Analyst and Project Manager role, including 3+ years within the hardware industry.
- 3+ years Agile project management experience in fast-paced environments; consistently driving initiatives to closure.
- Strong stakeholder management experience across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to trace processes across systems and recommend data management / governance strategies.
- Strong understanding of product parts and hierarchy and their relationship to master data and operational outcomes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-velocity environment.
- Hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Experience analyzing and cleaning large datasets.
- Exposure to high-volume consumer electronics environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
