We are seeking an experienced Collaboration Engineer to join Intuitive’s IT Digital Workplace team in Sunnyvale, CA. In this role, you will be the technical owner and administrator for the suite of enterprise collaboration tools used across Intuitive. You’ll ensure our employees can communicate, share information, and collaborate seamlessly using platforms like Zoom
, Microsoft Teams
, SharePoint Online
, Box
, Unily
, Lucidchart
, Smartsheet
, etc. The Collaboration Engineer will drive the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of these systems, provide expert user support, and ensure integration and security compliance across all collaboration platforms. This is a hands‑on technical role requiring a mix of platform administration, user support, scripting/integration, and cross‑functional coordination to deliver a world‑class digital workplace experience.
- Administer and support Slack, Zoom, Teams, SharePoint, Box, Unily (Leo), Smartsheet, and Asana to ensure secure, reliable, and user‑friendly collaboration experiences across the organization.
- Manage user provisioning, licensing, and platform configurations, ensuring tools are optimized for performance, compliance, and aligned with enterprise standards and business requirements.
- Develop and maintain user‑facing documentation, training materials, and onboarding resources to promote effective tool usage and increase employee productivity across collaboration platforms.
- Implement and enforce governance, security, and data retention policies across all collaboration tools, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal IT standards.
- Build and maintain integrations and automations using APIs and scripting to streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, and enhance cross‑platform collaboration capabilities.
- Collaborate with your assigned internal customer teams to align collaboration tools with evolving business needs, ensuring seamless integration into employee workflows and processes.
- Lead or support collaboration‑related projects, including tool rollouts, migrations, and upgrades, while managing timelines, stakeholders, and change communication.
- Monitor platform usage, adoption trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of the digital workplace experience.
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years managing enterprise collaboration platforms in a mid‑to‑large scale corporate environment.
- Proven hands‑on experience with at least a few of the following tools—Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Box, and Unily (Leo intranet)—including platform administration and user support.
- Expert level experience with collaborative work management tools such as Smartsheet and Asana, including user provisioning, license management, customization and workflow optimization.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Power Shell or Python, and experience using APIs to automate tasks and integrate collaboration tools with enterprise systems.
