Pay Rate: The annual salary rage for this position is $100,000 -$150,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guide only. RTL Networks considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market business considerations when extending an offer.

Status: Full-time/Onsite

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

Essential responsibilities of the System Engineer include, but are not limited to:

• Provide comprehensive support to the MASC team, including:
  Systems administration and help desk expertise for sustainment/development environments on MASC, covering Windows, Solaris, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and other operating systems.
• Configuration, data management, and software builds using Change Management (CM) tools.
• Collaboration with functional teams to resolve findings/issues and participate in Agile activities.
• Development and application of cybersecurity solutions, ensuring compliance with computer security policy and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Performance of software installs, updates, and patches, including troubleshooting and support.
• Maintenance and development of documentation, including Version Description Documents (VDDs) and job aides.
• Support for Digital Transformation activities, CDRL preparations, and ad hoc MASC projects.
• Generation and documentation of metrics, tracking and documenting all efforts.
• Travel to remote sites as needed to perform efforts.
• Provision of support across the program information systems, including troubleshooting and remediation of issues.
• Provide Ground Controller support for operations including but not limited to:
  Resetting user passwords, adjusting satellite position, monitor telemetry systems, resolve communication issues, support data center operations.

Qualifications:

Advanced degree and 0 years experience or bachelor's degree and 0-2+ years' experience or equivalent

Must meet DoD 8570 Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) criteria or information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification at time of hire (i.e., Security+)

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

Security Clearance requirements: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.
