Senior Project Manager; Master Data Governance

The Senior Project Manager, Master Data Governance is responsible for ensuring IT applications projects in the Master Data Governance area are completed to the agreed upon level of quality and within the predefined financial, personnel and material constraints.

• Establish direction and define clear goals for specific projects. Define and communicate the path to achieving these goals.
• Develop work & resource plan for the deployment of IT solutions, identifying and managing the critical path and resource constraints.
• Participate in the definition of project development/deployment metrics.
• Create, execute, and maintain project work plans, identifying resources and assigning individual responsibilities.
• Manage project scope, risks, and issues.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed with the expected level of quality.
• Ensure appropriate communication on system changes to key stakeholders as well as the business applications team.
• Ensure the project team works together focusing on common objectives.
• Resolve team conflicts.
• Ensure the project complies with IT change management policy, company and regulatory standards, methods, and procedures.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.
• Proven ability to lead, influence and work well at all levels of an organization and in a cross functional team environment
• Strong work ethic, self-directed and resourceful with the ability to deal with conflict and drive to resolution
• Minimum 8 years of experience involved in leading major cross-functional business application projects
• Experience managing SAP/ERP (or similar application) related initiatives
• Familiarity master data governance principles and best practice processes strongly
• Certification in project management (PMP) desired
