Engineer, Cloud Computing

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX/ Sunnyvale, CA(Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with AI/ML while managing Kubernetes-based environments and driving infrastructure automation through IaC.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $58/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions) to automate build, test, and deployment across multiple platforms.
• Provision and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS (and ISCloud) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform/Cloud Formation.
• Orchestrate and maintain containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker, leveraging Helm for repeatable deployments and rollbacks.
• Implement monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and proactively troubleshoot to ensure availability, performance, and secure operations.
• Collaborate with data science/ML teams to product ionize AI/ML workloads, integrating models into pipelines and automating model packaging, deployment, and rollback.
• Develop scripts (Shell, Python, Groovy) to support automation, environment provisioning, system recovery, and security/performance testing.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Dev Ops engineering, including strong exposure to cloud-native environments.
• Proven experience with AI/ML workflows, including integrating machine learning models into CI/CD pipelines and managing ML-driven deployments.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD (Jenkins, Git Hub), Kubernetes/Docker, IaC, and cloud platforms (AWS/ISCloud), with solid scripting skills in Shell, Python, or Groovy.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
