Amazon is looking for a Senior Product Manager – Technical to join the Smart Glasses team working to build new best‑in‑class consumer products. You will own and lead the definition, development, and launch of future versions of smart glasses. This role is cross‑functional and highly visible to senior leadership; you will communicate effectively with engineering, science, design, product, operations, and executive teams to drive successful outcomes across our roadmap.

job responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution for future versions of smart glasses.
  • Develop crisp working‑backwards documents (PR‑FAQs) and detailed product requirements that can be used to create product specifications and architecture.
  • Lead initiatives throughout various stages of the product lifecycle— from ideation to development to launch—while working cross‑functionally with product, engineering, design, operations, and business teams with an execution‑focused mindset to deliver the product to market.
  • Own and define the product roadmap based on team vision and strategy. Understand customer needs and identify opportunities to create or improve products and features. Champion and gain buy‑in for the strategy and roadmap by influencing and effectively communicating with internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
  • Drive executive‑level decision making and manage prioritization/trade‑offs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Stay closely connected to the latest developments in the smart glasses and wearable technology categories, anticipating future trends and opportunities to drive innovation.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with end‑to‑end product delivery
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and trade‑offs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA
  • Product management (technical) experience shipping complex wearable hardware/technology products
  • Experience building or using AI tools to enhance product management workflows
