OVERVIEW

Integrity Communications Solutions is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to support mission‑critical systems within a dynamic and collaborative environment. This entry‑level role involves a mix of systems administration, configuration management, cybersecurity, and engineering support, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.

Ideal candidates will work closely with experienced team members while gaining hands‑on experience across both sustainment and development environments. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early‑career professionals to build a strong technical foundation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide systems administration and help desk support for Windows, Linux (Red Hat), and Solaris environments.
  • Install, configure, and update software; apply patches and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring cybersecurity solutions aligned with RMF controls and policies.
  • Support configuration management processes using tools such as Git, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (e.g., system guides, job aids, version descriptions).
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collect and track system performance metrics and assist in preparing deliverables.
  • Perform tasks related to media control, audits, and classified/unclassified data handling.
  • Help automate routine system processes using scripting tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with 0–2 years of relevant experience, or
    • Master’s degree in a related field with no prior experience required.
  • Security Clearance:
    • Active Secret clearance required at time of hire
    • Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance as required by program needs.
  • Certifications:
    • Security+ required.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contracting requirements.
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity with RMF processes and cybersecurity compliance.
  • Basic understanding of system hardening and STIG/Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) tools.
  • Exposure to virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and performance monitoring tools.
  • Ability to read and write simple automation or shell scripts (Bash, Power Shell, etc.).
  • Experience with collaboration and ticketing tools such as Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
