Job Duties:
Work with Business Users and Systems Users to gather and analyze requirements. Analyze and document the current customer information systems, including the customer's reference data sources (such as S&P, Bloomberg, Thompson-Reuters), their transaction and data warehousing systems to understand how Xoriant reference data management platform and our cloud based CDI-on-Demand platform would apply to the customer environment. Estimation of Solution, Testing Efforts and Schedule for Delivering change requests.
Collaborate with developers and business user teams in discussing about the new features and provide suggestions. Create and maintain application overview document (AOD). Work the interfaces between the reference data sources (such as S&P, Bloomberg, Thompson-Reuters), the data staging area, the transaction systems such as trading systems, payment systems, loan processing systems, downstream data warehouses and reporting systems from the business and data integrity points of view.
Perform test case execution, defect reporting and support for the Xoriant reference data management platform and our CDI-on-Demand platform in the customer's transaction and compliance environments. Understand Implementation guides and if required create Implementation guide for the new business requirement for reference data. Create transformation specification documents and data structure specification documents for different transaction systems (such as trading, payment and loan processing systems), data warehousing systems and reporting systems.
Estimation of Testing Efforts, Plan Schedule for Delivering change requests. Validation and Testing of end to end data and function flow between the transaction systems, data warehouse and reporting systems. Functional validations on the key integration points between customer systems and Xoriant reference data management platform and our CDI-on-Demand platform. Document existing and new process flows and Possible Transaction Errors & resolutions.
Review the Unit Testing and Systems testing plans and review them with the business stakeholders. Involve in test improvement activities contributing to lessons learned, creating quality check lists for repeated testing tasks, tracking/sharing/testing resource, test effort and defect metrics. Serve as the interface between the developers and the project manager. Provide technical support for ongoing application to the Business and testing team.
Job Requirements:
Require Master's Degree or Foreign Equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Systems or related field. Require two years of experience in job offered, Software Engineer, Software Consultant or related, using Spark 2, Hive, Hadoop, Oracle 12 g. Require travel/relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
