- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
- 3 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
- Experience in one or more of the following: compute architecture, data center infrastructure, CPU (x86/Arm) and I/O technologies, Cloud Infrastructure, Storage, understanding of the operational aspects of Cloud Servers.
- Understanding of different workload requirements (emerging and existing) and their demands on the underlying infrastructure, familiarity with key Enterprise workloads such as MSSQL , SAP HANA.
- Understanding of locally attached Storage systems (LSDD) and performance needs.

As a part of the Technical Infrastructure team, you will be building and maintaining the architecture that powers everything users see online, from developing and managing data centers to building the next‑generation of Google platforms, making Google’s entire product portfolio possible.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $192,000–$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Responsibilities- Lead and harmonize processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures.
- Build and scale new CPU‑based VMs to market under Google Compute Engine, including deep‑diving into one of the fastest growing VM segments for Cloud to meet the needs of AI/ML and general purpose compute needs.
- Drive the roadmap for CPU and Memory technologies, Guest OS support, network, storage, hypervisor and offloads.
- Analyze competitive dynamics and industry trends on where the innovation is happening for both workloads and hardware.
- Collaborate across hardware, software, research and product teams towards product goals and roadmap.
