Akkodis is seeking a technically strong Repair Technician with experience supporting Apple devices in enterprise or repair-center environments. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise with diagnostics, hardware repair,
AST 2, GSX
, and device quality testing.
Pay rate
: $25-$40/hr on W2; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of Apple devices including Mac Books, iPhones, iPads, and desktops
- Utilize Apple repair and diagnostic tools such as AST 2 and GSX to identify and resolve hardware/software issues
- Execute hardware replacements including displays, batteries, logic boards, keyboards, and other components
- Perform device imaging, provisioning, OS installations, and software configuration for macOS and iOS environments
- Conduct quality testing and functional validation after repairs to ensure devices meet operational standards
- Handle device intake, triage, repair documentation, and ticket updates within internal systems
- Support inventory management, asset tracking, and parts handling processes
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to meet repair SLAs and productivity targets in a high‑volume environment
- Maintain compliance with Apple repair procedures, ESD standards, and data security protocols
- Provide professional customer‑facing support when required and communicate technical findings clearly
- Hands‑on experience with AST 2, GSX, ACMT, ACiT, Jamf, or Apple device deployment/imaging tools
- Strong experience with hardware repair, diagnostics, quality testing, and device provisioning
- Experience supporting macOS, iOS, Windows, and mobile devices in enterprise or repair environments
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Service Now, Zendesk, Jira, or Salesforce
- Apple certifications (ACMT, ACiT, Apple Service Fundamentals)
- Experience with JAMF, Intune, Active Directory, or MDM platforms
- Experience in warehouse repair operations, depot repair, or enterprise device lifecycle management
- Strong communication and customer service skills in fast‑paced technical environments
