Senior Product Manager - Tech, Prime Video Personalization & Discovery

The Prime Video Personalization & Discovery team is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Tech with Personalization to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the core recommendations that power our personalization and discovery experiences. You will operate at the intersection of machine learning, customer experience and business strategy, leading fast‑paced, high‑impact projects that ship ML‑powered features at scale.

Key responsibilities include owning strategy and roadmap for personalization products, collaborating with applied scientists and ML engineers to translate business problems into model requirements, defining and analyzing key metrics to measure recommendation quality, leading A/B testing strategy and experimentation, partnering with stakeholder teams to understand business needs, communicating complex technical concepts to senior leadership and cross‑functional partners, and making trade‑off decisions between model complexity, latency, scalability, and business value to deliver production‑ready solutions that add customer value.

Prime Video is a first‑stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries and live sports – including Amazon MGM Studios‑produced titles, licensed fan favorites, and content from Prime Video add‑on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll and MGM+.

All customers, regardless of Prime membership, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and enjoy more content for free with ads.

As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end‑to‑end ownership of the product, user experience, design and technology required to deliver state‑of‑the‑art experiences for our customers. You’ll work on fast‑paced, challenging and varied projects, experiment with new possibilities, take risks and collaborate with remarkable people.

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 3+ years of end‑to‑end product delivery experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning
• Background in an applied science, engineering or quantitative field, with a solid understanding of the model lifecycle, data readiness and model evaluation frameworks

• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
• Knowledge of machine learning approaches and algorithms
• Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross‑functional teams across geographies and business units

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications and location.
