Position
Description:
The EVM Analyst will provide comprehensive Earned Value Management support to the Helio Swarm Project under the NASA Consolidated Program Support Services (CPSS) contract at Ames Research Center (ARC). This position is located in Mountain View, CA. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Perform EVM data analysis and reporting using commercial tools such as Cobra and Empower. . Analyze Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs) and perform variance and trend analyses.
. Evaluate and interpret schedule critical paths and related schedule health metrics. . Establish, configure, and maintain integrated EVM systems, ensuring seamless data flow between the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project and Cobra. . Conduct gap analyses against EIA-748 EVMS 32 guidelines, identify compliance issues, and document improvement recommendations. . Develop and document clear process steps for EVM data analysis and performance reporting.
. Support EVMS implementation, training, and tool usage; assist Control Account Managers (CAMs) in building and maintaining control account plans. . Ensure Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), schedule, and cost data integration into EVM systems. . Consolidate data from government and contractor EVM sources to support project-level reporting. . Develop the project's EVM Implementation Plan and participate in Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) as needed.
. Conduct monthly data validity and integrity checks on both in-house and contractor EVM reporting. . Prepare and analyze Estimates at Complete (EACs); support the annual comprehensive EAC process for PPBE requirements. . Provide independent analysis, planning, process development, and recommendations for EVM control and improvement. . Develop, document, and monitor EVM processes, performance metrics, and reporting enhancements. . Produce and deliver monthly EVM summary reports and other performance products to project leadership.
. Coordinate regularly with project scheduling and financial teams to ensure accurate EVM data inputs. . Provide weekly/monthly schedules of EVM-related work and present updates to project stakeholders. . Support preparation and execution of Joint Confidence Level (JCL) analyses. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 15 years of applicable experience (15 years in Aerospace/Research and Development) .
Experience with Cobra and Empower (2 Years) . Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. . Extensive experience using commercial schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera. .
Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools. . Understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles. Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: . NASA experience . Project Management Professional (PMP) . Earned Value Management Professional (EVP) CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications.
To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $80,600.00 - $.
