Role Overview

We’re seeking a Developer Advocate to join us at a pivotal time in our growth. In this founding Dev Rel role, you’ll build and nurture our technical community while serving as the bridge between our users and our product team. You’ll help shape our community strategy, create compelling technical content, and be the public face of Curie Tech AI at events and industry conversations.

What You’ll Do Community Building & Support (40%)
  • Set up and manage Curie Tech AI’s Slack community, ensuring product questions are answered promptly and technical discussions are valuable.
  • Create a welcoming environment for new users and foster peer‑to‑peer knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor external Mule Soft/Data Weave communities and forums to identify relevant conversations and engage on Curie Tech AI’s behalf.
  • Carry out and iterate on our community playbook, including technical support and content creation.
  • Track community health metrics and optimize engagement strategies.
Content Creation (40%)
  • Develop a range of technical content including tutorials, blog posts, use case demonstrations, and video content.
  • Create educational resources that showcase how to effectively use Curie Tech AI’s agents.
  • Build sample projects and proof‑of‑concept demos that highlight real‑world applications.
  • Author weekly product tips and bi‑weekly educational content for the community.
  • Maintain a consistent content calendar and measure content effectiveness.
Advocacy & Thought Leadership (20%)
  • Represent Curie Tech AI at industry events, webinars, and Mule Soft community gatherings.
  • Build relationships with key influencers and decision‑makers in the Mule Soft ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with the product team to prioritize feature requests and incorporate community feedback.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop customer quotes & stories showcasing the expertise of our community members.
  • Host virtual meetups, AMAs, and other community events.
  • Establish yourself as a thought leader in the AI agent and integration space.
What We’re Looking For Technical Skills
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies; familiarity with large language models and AI agents is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical background with hands‑on development experience.
  • Willingness to learn Mule Soft Anypoint Studio, Data Weave, and related integrations (direct experience is a plus but not required).
  • Experience building and using developer tools.
Communication & Content Creation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience creating technical content (blogs, videos, documentation, etc.).
  • Comfortable presenting to technical audiences and leading community discussions.
  • Proven track record of building an audience or community through content.
Community Management
  • Experience managing technical communities or participating actively in them.
  • Understanding of community metrics and how to foster healthy engagement.
  • Empathy for developer needs and pain points.
  • Ability to gather and synthesize user feedback effectively.
Personality & Approach
  • Self‑motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast‑growing startup.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI technology and its practical applications.
  • Passion for helping others succeed with technology.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical roles.
  • At least 1–2 years in developer relations, advocacy, technical marketing, or similar community‑facing roles.
  • Strong programming skills and the ability to rapidly prototype ideas using AI agents and tools.
  • Experience with content creation platforms and community management tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
