Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Industrial Engineer based out of Sunnyvale, CA.
The successful candidate will be collaborative, open, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on team empowerment & shared responsibility, flexibility, continuous learning, and a culture of automation.
What You’ll get to Do- Utilizes Data Analytics to analyze existing operational processes and develop metrics and reporting to optimize and improve program & operational performance.
- Lead efforts as Digital Transformation Champion to align Apopka's goals with the sector and enterprise strategies.
- Creates new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance.
- Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently.
- Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints.
- Develop optimized scheduling tools and align SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints.
- Communicates requirements, planning, and systems framework with IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teams.
- Must be available on-site to support manufacturing and its schedule of operations.

- Solid presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas.
- Microsoft Office Excel, including macros, data mining, and pivot tables or data visualization software applications.
