RUCKUS Networks a Comm Scope BU is looking for a seasonedSenior Devops Manager to lead our global operations team in delivering world-class infrastructure performance and reliability. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and implementing scalable project management practices to support our enterprise customers.

As a key member of the engineering leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring 24/7 operational stability across our infrastructure, while continuously improving processes, systems, and team capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our business.

Requirements:

• Lead and mentor Technical Operations engineersacross multiple time zones
• Build collaborative team culturethat promotes knowledge sharing, innovation, and operational excellence
• Establish clear performance expectationsand provide regular coaching to develop technical and leadership skills
• Foster cross-functional partnershipswith Product, Security, and Development teams
• Own 24/7 operational stabilityincluding incident response, escalation procedures, and post-incident reviews
• Drive comprehensive incident managementincluding alert management, outage response, and root cause analysis (RCA/CAR)
• Implement and maintain SRE practicesincluding SLOs, error budgets, and reliability engineering principles
• Establish robust monitoring and alertingusing APM tools, diagnostic dashboards, and early detection systems
• Lead technical project deliverywith clear timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication
• Implement structured project managementmethodologies to provide visibility to senior leadership
• Drive automation initiativesincluding runbook automation, deployment automation, and infrastructure as code
• Coordinate change managementprocesses and ensure proper documentation and training
• Manage infrastructure automationusing Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS)
• Develop operational roadmapsaligned with business objectives and technical strategy
• Provide executive reportingon operational metrics, project status, and team performance
• Collaborate with product teamson deployment management and release coordination
• Drive cost optimizationinitiatives and resource planning

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years in technical operationswith 4+ years leading Technical Operations, SRE, or infrastructure teams
• Proven track record of team developmentwith experience mentoring engineers and building high-performing teams
• Strong project management skillswith experience using Agile/Kanban methodologies and JIRA
• Excellent communication abilitieswith experience presenting to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Deep SRE experienceincluding incident management, monitoring, and reliability engineering
• Infrastructure automation expertisewith Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud platform proficiencyin GCP/AWS including networking, security, and cost management
• Monitoring and observabilityexperience with Prometheus, Grafana, APM tools, and log aggregation
• 24/7 operations experienceincluding on-call management, escalation procedures, and global team coordination
• Change management and complianceexperience with SOC2, security reviews, and audit processes
• Network and systems administrationbackground with Linux, networking protocols, and security practices

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance.
